Rally for the Cure®

It's time again for fitness enthusiasts with a desire to raise money for breast cancer awareness to Rally in support of Susan G. Komen! Anyone who has the spirit of competition and the drive to help eradicate breast cancer forever can participate in the Rally for the Cure. Although traditionally for golfers and tennis players, especially in sunny New Mexico, this opportunity is open to all kinds of activities, from bridge to bowling and everything in between.
 
The Rally is a third-party event, where you run the contests and raise money, and the Central New Mexico Affiliate of Susan G. Komen donates small gifts for your participants and breast health materials in support of the day. People like you ran rallies that raised dollars which went to both the affiliate to use toward breast health materials and grant money, and the national chapter of Susan G. Komen to put toward research. In fact, this affiliate gave out almost $220,000 in grants to New Mexico organizations in 2011, so every bit helps!
 
So strap on your golf shoes, grab a tennis racket, or pull together a group of friends to start rallying in support of the Central New Mexico affiliate of Susan G. Komen this summer. And please -- take pictures! We'd love to show the visitors of www.komencnm.org what New Mexicans are doing to help each other out in the fight against breast cancer.
